Day 14 POSTED AT 11:22 AM Okay, so good news and bad: The word count is well above the daily target despite the 3 non-writing days this week. This weekend is messy with stuff, and apparently I'm on duty. Hm. I'm going to be in SP next week and may not have internet access. Ugh. The writing is slow today, mainly because I'm distracted and I don't really know where I want the story to go. On the other hand, I now have fairies in my story! I wanted to work on the script, but haven't. Should probably look at it now. Oh malasnya... --- I had a random conversations post brewing in my head, but I can't remember anymore. taughts

Heroes! POSTED AT 10:58 AM Heroes are those who rise above themselves Heroes are those who feel scared but overcome their fears Heroes are those who work for a bigger cause than themselves Heroes are those who are willing to stake their reputation for that bigger cause Heroes are those who see possibilities and not problems Heroes are those who hear wisdom and discard unfounded criticism Heroes are those who use what they have to get the job done Heroes overcome thier own excuses and finishes what they have to do i know a few heroes... A young gal from my youth, having been armed with biblical teaching, encouragement from family members, wanted her friends to know Jesus, overcame her fear and stood in front of almost 200 students in her school to share Change Your World! A young man, has passion to win his whole school for Jesus, took the same project to his school principal only to be rejected...but he still soldiers on! A 14 year old young man, one of the least people i would expect to get excited about Change Your World...he is a very quiet and unassuming young man...he was the first to get tickets from my youth group! Another young gal facing major exams soon, takes up the preevent and does it with her school friends despite knowing that she cannot go for the main event...and she does the preevents underground...!! A few youths after being challenged, knwoing that they cannot go for the main event, were willing to open their wallets and sponsor others to go.... Heroes! Heroes Change their World! Thank God for Heroes & I love heroes who live for the Ultimate HERO- JESUS CHRIST!

"Let's Just Fall In Love Again" POSTED AT 07:50 PM Ever since I've found out that Jason Castro's single "Let's Just Fall In Love Again" is being played on the radio, I kinda look forward to getting stuck in a traffic jam - just so I could listen to his single. Heh heh
Haha. I mean... Why not? His voice is soothing and pleasant to the ears. It just sounds so... happy. :D My dad thinks he's not bad too, you know... Oh. By the way, his album is coming out next year! Woo hoo! I can't wait!
I'm a Jason Castro fan, can't you tell? *winks*

How dreadful. POSTED AT 09:56 PM I find it appalling how people can openly backstab someone on the internet. Though the victim remains anonymous, still, it's the action and consequence that matter. I'm flabbergasted, astonished, speechless, plus all the other emotions that are synonymous of those words.
Another note... I'm feeling so tired. Running and walking Benji and Darky can be very tiring.

Random POSTED AT 06:49 PM I was looking for flights on Tiger Airways, and this is what I saw under the terms and conditions. It absolutely cracked me up! Infants under two (2) years of age at the time of travel, who do not occupy an aircraft seat are only charged S$40 or A$40 per infant per one way journey.Infants are not required to pay taxes and charges and do not qualify for any baggage allowance. Oops.. now that I re-read it, it's not as funny anymore. Cos in skimming it, I think I mistakenly read it as: "infants do not qualify as baggage allowance". Ok, nvm.. no more baby jokes. Apparently I am known for the baby jokes, though not the gruesome ones that you hear normally. But some *ahemmy exflatmates* might beg to differ. Anyhow, I had dinner with a few other cafe people at pastor's place, and heard about how this couple (who were there at the dinner) met each other and eventually got married. The guy, a Kiwi went on an OE to Europe, and was in Italy when he met the girl, an American who was studying classics there. They met in the Vatican! In the presence of the Pope, not quite. But she did point out that she was blessed by the Pope, along with a thousand other people though. Being a pope must be quite boring, or maybe i don't know enough about what he does. But back to the story, the boy then tagged along with the girl, and travelled with her, and then basically decided, after knowing each other on that short period of time, that if they wanted the rship to work, they would have had to commit to something. So they did a bit of a long distance together, and then eventually she moved to NZ, and they're married now. Crazy right? Only thought these stories existed in novels or in chick flicks or romantic movies. Alright, it's 11.50pm, gotta hit the sack. Flatmate and I are keeping each other accountable, to get to bed early and rise early leading to a healthy lifestyle! =) |

Day 7: the PM update POSTED AT 06:31 PM My month widget doesn't seem to be working right. Hope they get it fixed. Am finally back on top of the word count for today, yayness. Silly LNO yesterday set me back from the 1 day's lead I used to have. Write or Die really helps. Will (probably) skip supper after church tonight and do more writing in case tomorrow gets busy. Tomorrow looks something like this: 0900 breakfast and last minute practice for vocal classes Yeah, it doesn't look like much right NOW, but believe me, time really gets out of hand when you think that you have a lot of 'down time' in between (which I don't). Right now, I should have dinner. Church is at 7.30. And as an aside, my mouse really sucks. It doesn't click right anymore. Both the one at home and the one for work. Time to get new ones. Reading: Prince, hahaha! |

Tent of Meeting POSTED AT 12:29 PM
Exodus 33:14 (NIV) Moses was burdened by the cares of leading 2million people...his training did not prepare him for that...he was leading sheep in the far side of the desert...no wonder he had butterflies in his stomach and could not bear the weight of leading such a group of people....but he did what was right...he brought his burdens to God.. Israelites were free from Egypt and were travelling in the desert...everytime they stop and camped, Moses would erect a tent for God in which if anyone would want to meet God, they could...it was there that God would descend in a cloud to meet his people... Moses would go to the tent to seek God..and when he did, people will watch until they saw God descend ina cloud...then they will begin to worship God. Lesson: When we connect with God, it will cause the people around us to worship HIm... In one fo the Moses & God face to face conversations, God promised HIs presence...and his rest...Moses only asked for God's presence...but God gave him more than he asked for...Lesson: God always gives us the better end of the bargain...he gives us more than we ask. The place God and Moses met, a tent of meeting...a place designated for that purpose...it was a place intentionally set aside-outside the camp..lesson: we need to set time aside from our God given schedule and meet with HIm...it is tehre at our face to face meeting that God will speak his promises and reminders of his presence and provision to us.
